North Carolina AIT requirements.

Partial review · Checked 2026-09-18

Review notes for North Carolina are available below. They cover selected requirements and open questions, not every route to licensure.

Reviewed guidance and open questions

The board approves an individualized program, ordinarily at least 12 weeks and at least 40 hours/week, subject to specified exceptions. A universal 2,000-hour requirement and fixed 50-week ceiling were not substantiated. Obtain the board-approved total and schedule; an upper planning estimate is not the requirement.
