How long will your AIT program take?

Enter your approved hours, start date and weekly training pace to estimate a completion date.

Enter the hour requirement approved for your own program. We have not published a source-checked requirement for this selection.

The board approves an individualized program, ordinarily at least 12 weeks and at least 40 hours/week, subject to specified exceptions. A universal 2,000-hour requirement and fixed 50-week ceiling were not substantiated. Obtain the board-approved total and schedule; an upper planning estimate is not the requirement. Official guidance.

Enter a valid start date, required hours (1–20,000), and weekly pace (1–80) to calculate.

This is a planning estimate, not a board-approved completion date. It assumes the same pace every week, without breaks. Eligibility, approvals, minimum durations, rotations and reporting rules still apply. For a months-based or experience-based route, use your board’s approved timeline.
