Planned: from training to application

A guided path to your license paperwork.

PDF transcripts are available today. State-specific paperwork automation is planned; it is not available yet.

  1. Review the recorded hours, departments, and facility experience.
  2. Confirm missing details and required preceptor documentation.
  3. Prepare a state-specific application packet from the verified information.
  4. Review the packet and submit it through the licensing board’s required process.

Your licensing board determines required forms, signatures, accepted hours, and eligibility. AITpath does not issue a license or submit an application automatically.

Explore state requirements · What is an AIT?

Before you begin

A few practical questions.

Who is AITpath for?

AITpath is built for nursing home administrators in training and the licensed administrators who guide them. The facility plan includes one learner and preceptor supervision.

Can my preceptor or facility pay for my plan?

Your preceptor can purchase a plan for you using your email address at checkout. The AIT + Preceptor plan includes the linked preceptor account.

Which states are supported?

AITpath helps organize training and learning. Product availability is separate from published state requirements; confirm your individual path with your licensing board.

What can my preceptor see?

With a linked account, your preceptor can review training activity, rotation progress, shared journal entries, and items you flag for attention. Your journal entries remain private until you choose to share them.

Does AITpath replace my state’s licensing requirements?

No. AITpath helps you organize training and learning. Your state board determines eligibility, program requirements, examinations, and licensure. Completing tasks or earning badges in AITpath does not confer a license. Your board determines which National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB) exams you need to become a licensed nursing home administrator (LNHA).

What is available today?

Daily check-ins, rotation checklists, learning questions, journaling, and progress tracking are available now. The linked preceptor experience adds guidance, messaging, and review. State-format board reports are still coming.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. Use AITpath in your browser on desktop or mobile, or add it to your phone’s home screen for quick access.
