Michigan AIT requirements.

Michigan does not license nursing home administrators through a supervised, hours-based AIT internship -- the path there is a college course of instruction (a minimum of 9 semester credits or 144 clock hours of classroom instruction) plus the national NAB exams, or five of the preceding seven years as a hospital chief executive or administrative officer. AITpath is a training and organization tool, not a substitute for Michigan's licensure process: hours you log here are for your own tracking and learning only, and are not recognized by Michigan's Department of Health, or any state board, as credit toward becoming a licensed administrator.
