Your path to licensure in Arizona
- Confirm you meet the eligibility requirements
Most states start with at least a high school diploma; some require a specific degree.
- Complete your required hours under a preceptor
You'll train under a licensed administrator approved as your preceptor.
- Submit progress reports during your program
Most states require periodic progress reports while you train.
- Pass the required exam(s)
Typically the national NAB exam; some states add their own.
- Apply for your license
Submit your application through your state's licensing board.
