Which NAB domains apply to your exam?
NAB’s 2022 Domains of Practice apply to exams through June 30, 2027. The 2026 Domains of Practice take effect for exams beginning July 1, 2027.
Why the year on the framework can be confusing
The edition name is not the exam start date. A framework published in 2026 can be used for exams that begin in 2027. Choose study materials against your planned exam date, then check NAB’s current guidance before registering.
What changes?
The 2022 edition groups the material into four domains: Care, Services, and Supports; Operations; Environment and Quality; and Leadership and Strategy. The 2026 edition uses nine domains and adds task statements to give more detail about the work being assessed.

Our twelve public practice questions are grouped using the 2026 framework. They are independent study questions, not official NAB examination questions, and do not represent the full exam blueprint or predict a passing score.
