How long will your AIT program take?

Enter your approved hours, start date and weekly training pace to estimate a completion date.

Enter the hour requirement approved for your own program. We have not published a source-checked requirement for this selection.

The baseline practicum is 1,000 hours at least 20 hours/week. Board-approved reductions and full waivers may apply. The reviewed sources do not substantiate a hard 12-month cap. Academic-credit wording must be read alongside the rule's approved alternatives. A full waiver is not an hours-based program. Official guidance.

Enter a valid start date, required hours (1–20,000), and weekly pace (1–80) to calculate.

This is a planning estimate, not a board-approved completion date. It assumes the same pace every week, without breaks. Eligibility, approvals, minimum durations, rotations and reporting rules still apply. For a months-based or experience-based route, use your board’s approved timeline.
